About the author
Koos Meinderts (1953) writes songs and poems, books, cabaret and theatre plays for adults as well as children. His books won several awards and one of them was nominated for the prestigious German Juvenile Literature Award.
About the illustrator
Annette Fienig (1959) is illustrator and graphic artist. She studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Utrecht graduating in Graphic design. After her study she worked as ‘artist in residence’ at Highland Printmakers in Inverness, Scotland.
Annette illustrated over 80 children’s books for Dutch and German publishers. What she loves making the most and excels in are wide landscapes, portraits, townscapes and a still life.
