This favorite picture book, revised for the first time to include text, describes the unusual events that happen when a toy monkey is separated from his young owner. The shimmering watercolors bring to life the enchantingly oddball characters the monkey encounters. These include a mouse colony that uses the monkey’s underwear to swing through their house in the bottom of a tree; a hedgehog family that falls asleep with him; and the magpie that steals the monkey away to its nest.
